WEEKDAY WALK: SEAFORD HEAD CIRCULAR (4.9 MILES)

Hi all. This is a circular route around Seaford Head, c.5 miles, mostly undulating with just one short sharp hill, nothing too strenuous. There are fantastic views en route so pack your camera.

There's a Cadence van at South Hill Barn for a morning coffee break (card only, no cash), and we can enjoy a mid-walk lunch break on the beach at Cuckmere Haven so pack a snack, water and sitmat.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome and I walk with a friendly hound called Josie. There may be sheep on this walk.

We will start from Chyngton Lane North, a quiet little road with free kerbside parking. Travelling from Eastbourne along the A259, cross the bridge at Exceat by the Cuckmere Inn, follow the road round to the right towards Seaford and take the first turning on the right, 0.6m from the bridge.
