GOLDEN CHILD by CLAIRE ADAMS selected by Jane Wright, is to be discussed this month Oct.

Set in rural Trinidad, it won the Desmond Elliott Prize and was selected on a 2019 BBC list of 100 most inspiring novels. Described as a sensitive depiction of family life combined with a thriller's urgency, with multiple perspectives and a non linear timeline.

This is a friendly monthly book club.
Fiction, not in a series, & available as a preloved paperback, kindle and audio.

We listen to everyone as they express their thoughts on this months read. Then a general chat about the novel. Followed by group choosing next book to read. So please bring a suggestion along. Everyone to buy a drink, in return for using The Hydros lovely facilities.
