Friday Walk: Rushlake Green (4.5m)

Details
A circular walk in the Sussex countryside from the delightful hamlet of Rushlake Green. At 4.5 miles, this walk is shorter than some and is undulating rather than hilly. It is mostly across open countryside with a half mile stretch of road along a quiet lane.
We will take a short banana break somewhere en route so pack your water and a sitmat. There's a pub in the village, the Horse and Groom, and we can enjoy a drink and/or light meal in the pub or garden at the end of our walk.
Dogs are welcome, on leads around livestock, and I walk with a friendly hound called Josie.
Please note I probably won't have time to recce the walk this week and, given recent weather, it may be muddy in places - hopefully not too bad. I just feel if we don't walk this route now, we may not make it again before next spring.
We will meet on the green in front of the Horse & Groom where there is free kerbside parking. The village lies south of Heathfield, about 16 miles from the centre of Eastbourne, c.40 mins drive. If anyone does not have satnav and requires more directions, please let me know.
Please allow plenty of time to find the village and be booted and ready to walk by 1030. Any problems on the day, please call or message me on 07764 677363.
