FRIDAY WALK: EAST DEAN CIRCULAR VIA WENT HILL (4.4M)

This moderate walk takes us uphill from East Dean to Friston Church, across fields and down Went Hill to Birling Gap then back to East Dean via the Horseshoe Plantation & Cornish Farm.
There’s a cafe and toilets at Birling Gap but people may prefer to press on for coffee/snacks/lunch at the Hikers Rest.
Dogs are welcome and I walk with a friendly mutt called Josie. We may encounter sheep.
