FRIDAY WALK: A DOWNLAND WALK FROM EASTBOURNE YHA - CHANGE OF ROUTE

Hi all. As the weather forecast is not great I have changed the route for Friday's walk (again!). The revised route starts from Eastbourne YHA on the East Dean Road out of Old Town. We have a shortish climb up to the ridge and from there we can adapt the route depending on the weather.
I hope to make a circular route across the Downs before heading to the golf club for coffee. This is c.4.5m with a couple of moderate hills. If the weather is too bad we can cut the walk shorter and make a bee-line for the cafe. It will still be sociable and we get some fresh air.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome and I walk with a friendly dog called Josie.
There is free parking at the YHA satnav BN20 8ES. Space for several cars but if it's full there is a quiet cul de sac across the main road.
