FRIDAY WALK: SEAFORD HEAD CIRCULAR (c.4.5 miles)

Hi all. This is a circular route around Seaford Head, c.4.5 miles, mostly undulating with just one steeper hill which we will take at a steady pace. I am adapting the route from previous walks hopefully to avoid the muddy bits!

There's a Cadence van at South Hill Barn for a coffee break (card only, no cash) near the end of the walk and we can enjoy a mid-walk banana break on the beach at Cuckmere Haven so pack a sitmat.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome and I walk with a friendly hound called Josie. There may be sheep on this walk.

We will start from Chyngton Lane North, a quiet little road with free kerbside parking. Travelling from Eastbourne along the A259, cross the bridge at Exceat by the Cuckmere Inn, follow the road round to the right towards Seaford and take the first turning on the right, 0.6m from the bridge.
