FRIDAY WALK: A CIRCULAR DOWNLAND WALK c.4.7 MILES

Hi all. This circular walk takes us over quiet downland, avoiding mud and stiles. There's one gradual hill down and a similar hill back up which we will take at a nice steady pace; the rest is gentle.
Optional coffee and cakes at the Golf Club near the end of the walk.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
We start the walk at the Eastbourne YHA (recently renamed to 'South Downs Club House Eastbourne') on A259, free parking. Or opposite road if full. From Eastbourne, the car park is on your right as you head up the hill, just before the Club House building, satnav BN20 8ES. From Seaford follow the East Dean Road towards Eastbourne town centre and the car park is after the Golf Club car park on your left. The no. 12 bus stops there.
