Hi all. This is a circular route around Seaford Head, c.5 miles, mostly undulating with the odd steeper bit which we will take at a steady pace.

We have done this walk before but this time I plan to reverse it. We won't stop at the beach for lunch but instead we'll arrive at the Cadence cafe at South Hill Barn later in the walk where we can buy a coffee (card only) and eat our snacks.

There may be a couple of muddy patches en route but we can adapt the walk if necessary. It will then be a shorter walk but still beautiful.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome and I walk with a friendly hound called Josie. There may be sheep on this walk.

We will start from Chyngton Lane North, a quiet little road with free kerbside parking. Travelling from Eastbourne along the A259, cross the bridge at Exceat by the Cuckmere Inn, follow the road round to the right towards Seaford and take the first turning on the right, 0.6m from the bridge. Satnav BN25 3UU. W3W://dissolves.grazed.blessing.

Please be booted and ready to start our walk at 1030. If you are unable to attend on the day, please call or text me on 07764 677363 in case I can't access MeetUp. As the weather forecast is mixed I will confirm the walk the day before.
