Who would be interested to visit the garden at 51 Carlisle Road Lower Meads Eastbourne BN21 4JR on 16th of May 11am to 4pm in aid of St Wilfrid's Hospice
Dogs 🐕 are permitted on short leads , refreshments will be available.

I shall be in attendance at 11am.

Entrance by donation.

There is no disabled access, there are steps leading to the garden , nearest bus stop is the Winter Garden .
It won The Daily Mail Garden of the Year in 2002 and has been open for the National Garden Scheme ever since.

It has been featured in various magazines over the years.
A secluded, award-winning, 75’ x 65’ garden with glorious early summer colour from an abundance of old roses, perennials, mixed beds and diverse planting.

There is a small pond and areas for plants that love shade or sun. Special plants inc Abutilon and Euphorbia mellifera that enjoy the relatively mild microclimate of a below-street level space very close to the south coast.
