Eastbourne’s biggest free music festival will bring an early start to the summer season with a return to the Eastbourne Bandstand from 11am on Saturday 30th of May....
NO TICKETS REQUIRED , IT'S FIRST COME FIRST SERVED FOR SEATS . Doors to venue will be open prior to the first act performing , however there is no guarantee of a seat as stated FIRST COME FIRST SERVED , I NOT ABLE TO BOOK SEATS AS THIS IS A FREE EVENT .
IT IS BEST MEMBERS GET THEIR EARLY TO GET A SEAT ESPECIALLY IF IT IS ANOTHER HOT DAY, I CAN NOT GUARANTEE WHERE I BE SEATED AS THIS IS A VERY POPULAR EVENT .
I shall be there at 11am to see the first act Sam Hughes as Elton , will not be staying all the time as different acts will be taking part.
Showcasing the best in local talent, the annual fiesta of live music and mouth-watering street food promises a packed programme of performances all day on the 30th of May.
The family-friendly festival will showcase a range of genres on the iconic Bandstand stage from 11am to 5pm , from a top tribute act to classic rock, pop, funk, R&B, country, new wave, mod, soul and ska.
In a bumper weekend of events, the seafront market and 999 Emergency Services Display will also take place along the seafront, Wish Tower and Western Lawns .
Performing live on the Bandstand stage, at 11am Sam Hughes as Elton is back with the UK’s youngest Elton John tribute on Saturday 30 May with all the classic hits from the legendary showman.
Sam is followed by Zachary Dogwood, a post-punk new wave outfit with Nick Cave and David Bowie vibes, and party band Rewind 45 will be bringing a mixture of rock, funk and pop classics spanning across six decades in a multi-generational set.
Street food stalls will be offering a tantalising tour of the world alongside with face painting, a fully stocked Bandstand bar and retail stalls offering a range of gifts and goodies.
Nearby the bustling Seafront Market will be offering great gifts and continental favourites and on the Western Lawns the 999 Emergency Services Display will be in full swing ..
No ticket is required for the music festival during the day, however once Beach Life wraps up proceedings at 5pm the party continues with tickets available for the Bandstand’s seasonal tribute shows each evening. Concerts include the Bee Gees on Saturday night performed by Staying Alive and a Guns N Roses tribute show by Guns 2 Roses on Sunday night – shows start at 8pm and tickets are available from EastbourneBandstand.co.uk.
