A circular walk in the Sussex countryside from the delightful village of Rushlake Green. This is a moderate walk, c.4.5 miles, mostly undulating across open countryside with a bit of woodland and a half mile stretch of road along a quiet lane.

We will take a short banana break somewhere en route so pack your water and a sitmat. There's a good pub in the village, the Horse and Groom, and we can enjoy a drink and/or light meal in the pub garden at the end of our walk.

Well behaved dogs are welcome, on leads around livestock.

We will meet on the green in front of the Horse & Groom where there is free kerbside parking. The village lies between Herstmonceux to the south and Heathfield to the north, c. 16 miles/40 mins drive from the centre of Eastbourne. If anyone does not have satnav and requires more directions, please let me know. Alternatively I can offer a couple of people a lift from Sovereign Harbour.

Please allow plenty of time to find the village and be booted and ready to walk by 1030. Any problems on the day, please call or message me on 07764 677363.
