FRIDAY WALK: WILMINGTON-LITLINGTON CIRCULAR (6m)

This walk will be led by Diana.

A 6 mile circular walk starting from Wilmington Priory car park, 680ft ascent in total, mostly in the first third. From almost the start of the walk there's a steepish climb to the top of the Long Man, but once there we'll enjoy fabulous views over the Downs and towards the White Horse of Litlington. The rest of the route is fairly easy walking. There are eight stiles towards the end of the walk.

About halfway we'll stop for a break at the Cadence cafe in Litlington for loos and refreshments (card payment). It can get busy so it's advisable to bring any drinks and snacks that you require for the walk.

The start point is Wilmington Priory car park satnav BN26 5SW. From the A27 take the turn into Wilmington and continue for half a mile through the village. The car park is on your right after the Church and Priory, opposite the Long Man. Parking is free. If the car park is full, there is easy parking on the lane near the church.

Please arrive 10 mins early to be booted and ready to leave at 10am.
