Published 2014, it took the author 6 mths to research and 3 1/2yrs to write her 3rd book at 65, and is inspired by a real life early abolotionist and feminist Sarah Grimke.
This is a friendly monthly book club.
Fiction, not in a series, & available as a preloved paperback, kindle and audio.
We listen to everyone as they express their thoughts on this months read. Then a general chat about the novel. Followed by group choosing next book to read. So please bring a suggestion along. Everyone to buy a drink, in return for using The Hydros lovely facilities.
Members are expected to be kind, courteous, & respect each others views.
