2 days of boat safari through the dense mangroves searching for otters, wildlife sign surveys, setting up camera traps, visit to the sea turtle nesting beaches, wildlife photography, bird watching, village home stay and interactions with local tribes.

About the program:
Join us for a unique experience in the mangrove forests of Krishna river delta searching for Otters. Otters are semi-aquatic mammals. Learn all about these amazing animals, their wetland habitats and conservation. Also most of these mangroves are largely unexplored. Besides being a birdwatchers paradise in this migratory season, the area harbors many species of reptiles and other mammals too. We’ll also be visiting isolated beaches of turtle nesting (now is the turtle hatching season).
Costs : 4800/- (includes train tickets from Hyderabad, lodging, meals, boat rides during the program, equipment rentals (life jackets etc), local transport and program costs for two days.

Itinerary
4th March 2016
09:00pmCatch train to Repalle from Kacheguda station
5th March 2016
7am Pick up from Repalle railway station to the home stay
8.00am Freshen up and breakfast
9.30am Explore the mangrove creeks on boat, visit site 1 for wildlife spotting/sign survey
1.00pm Lunch and relax
3.00pm Boat ride through mangroves to turtle nesting beach
6.00pm Evening tea/talks/knowledge sharing :)
8.00pm Dinner
9.00pm Boat ride to observe nocturnal species (if possible)
6th March
6.00am Wake-up call and breakfast
7.00am Boat ride through mangroves to site 2 for otter sighting
12.00pm return and have lunch
3.00pm another exploration ride on boat or do a nearby hike
6.00pm tea and disperse, drop provided till railway station
9.25pm catch train to Hyderabad
