Welcome to the Eastern Melbourne Autism Group! This group is mainly for individuals who have autism, but you're welcome to join if you have ADHD or something similar or if you are self diagnosed or want to learn more about Autism.
I started this group because I was recently diagnosed with autism and I think that when that happens in your 30's it can be a struggle to meet other like minded people.
While there are other similar groups on meetup, none are for this area. So, if you live in Ringwood, Lilydale, Warburton, Emerald, Ferntree Gully, etc, join the group and let's meet up and have fun with like minded people. I will aim to run something maybe once a month, just depends on size of group and who turns up for my first event :)

Important Note: Once an event reaches the capacity of 30 RSVPs, Meetup may prompt you to pay to join the waitlist. Don't bother. Just come along to the event even if you are not on the waitlist. Also, because I'm using a free version of Meetup, I can only have 10 people 'attend' but ignore that. Any number of people can come. Just put your name down if you can so I can get an idea of how many people will show up.
