Your guide for the tour is Jack The Ripper expert Jenny, as featured in the video.

This is an action packed 1 1/4 hour Jack The Ripper tour of Whitechapel and Spitalfields, including the murders and their locations, plus the pubs that The Ripper and his victims drank in. Follow the sequence of murders, the investigation and the victims' stories. Learn about the suspects and use your own detective skills to solve the crimes as we take you through a journey into the depths of London's East End.

(This tour will run even if there are only a small number of Meet Up members booked on it as there may be some people also on it who have booked through other channels.) Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Don't be afraid..... the Ripper only strikes when you are alone! There is safety in numbers but a murder scene is always around the corner.

Jenny will use her expertise of the Ripper to give you a full commentary of the murders and of the extreme poverty and deprivation that was a backdrop to the vicious crimes of the world's most infamous serial killer.

You will also see multiple crime scene and mortuary photographs during the tour which will enhance your experience.

This walk is informative, entertaining, chilling and scary, a great walking experience as well as an excellent social event.

The tour starts outside The White Hart pub, 89 Whitechapel High St, London E1 7RA, which is close to the Whitechapel Art Gallery exit of Aldgate East tube station. (please note, not Aldgate tube station, which is a different station.)

We are all going to have a great time and meet some new friends too. There will be some guests from other channels so please come along even if our meet up group doesn't have many RSVPs because it will still be great fun and you will meet some new people.

The tour finishes at about 7.45 pm, 6 to 8 minutes walk from Liverpool Street station and Aldgate East station. Jenny can give you directions to either of these stations at the end of the tour.

Please note that there are graphic and gruesome descriptions of murders on this tour, as well as original images of the victims and their injuries and mortuary photographs.

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult and the tour is not suitable for under 14s due to the gruesome content in it.
