Join the park naturalist on a leisurely 3 to 3.5-mile hike along the beautiful Cove Ridge Trail, with a side detour to the Wild Creek Falls. We’ll discuss some of the unique plant and animal life that lives in this mixed forest habitat, and take in views of the beautiful Wild Creek Falls. This trail is a moderately-difficult trail, with a few steep changes in elevation. Portions of this trail may also be rocky and wet in spots, so sturdy walking or hiking shoes are required. Participants should bring water and bug spray. *Rain will cancel the hike.
We will be meeting at the Wild Creek Trailhead for this hike. The trailhead is located on Pohopoco Drive, approximately 4 miles east of the main entrance to Beltzville State Park. For more detailed directions, please call the park office, 7 days a week, 8am-4pm, or email the park naturalist at [rbergstres@pa.gov](mailto:rbergstres@pa.gov).
Registration is REQUIRED, as group size is limited. Please register each individual attending, separately. Please register through the DCNR Calendar of Events website, NOT on Meetup. You can register by clicking on the following link:
