The group is for anyone 45and above looking to socialize and make new friends while enjoying dining, walks, live music, board games, and other fun activities. This group was started so like-minded people who enjoy these activities could meet and do them together. The events we have cover a wide range of activity levels so there is something for everyone.

We are open to suggestions for events, and we welcome members who want to participate in adding events to our calendar or becoming event hosts!
Out of respect for the event hosts who spend time planning and designing events and for members on the WAITLIST, please, only sign up for events after you have read the entire description about it and are pretty sure you will attend.
Members who do not participate in events and/or have a history of signing up and changing their RSVP last minute or are "no-shows" will be dropped from the group.

Weekend on Camano Island (Cabins & Camping)
Camano Island State Park, 2269 Lowell Point Road, Camano Island, WA, USSpend 2 relaxing nights on Camano Island just an hour's drive north of Seattle.
Enjoy leisurely hikes in the forest, walks on the beach, and relaxing conversations. Challenge yourself to some board games or card games around the bonfire and maybe roast some smores, or barbecue around the fire. Join us for brunch at the delicious Cama Beach cafe on Saturday.
We have reserved two small rustic cabins. Let us know if you're interested in sharing space in the cabin. (update: there are 2 spaces in a cabin available to share with 1 man - quarters are tight, so should be other men. The women's cabin is already full.)
You need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow, but there's a mattress. There are no bathrooms in the cabin - There's a public camp restrooms and showers.

There are also sites available in the campground if you'd like to camp or sleep in your car or a camper. Those sites are first come first serve; so you cannot reserve them ahead this time of year. There is no water or electricity at those sites so you'll need to use the public restrooms.
Another option is to join us on Saturday only and not spend the night. If that's your intention, please let us know in the comments.
Meals:
- Let's coordinate potluck dinners for Friday and Saturday night.
- We'll have brunch Saturday at Cama Beach Cafe
- You're on your own for breakfasts and snacks.

I went to my first “Secret Movie” last year and have been hooked ever since—it’s such a fun and unpredictable experience! I don’t know anything about this next one (that’s part of the excitement!), but I’ve already snagged a block of tickets for the 7pm screening so we can all sit together. If you’d rather grab your own ticket, no problem—just let us know your seat so we can sit nearby. Check out the list below of the surprise hits we’ve seen so far. Don’t miss out—come be part of the fun!
📍 Meeting place: Let's meet outside the Forum by the benches near the ticket booths. If you'd like to arrive early, I do recommend the Happy Hour at the Forum. Send me a message if you'd like me or others to join you.
