Eastside Light Rail Adventure: Mercer Island Farmers Market and Walk

Hey all, it summertime and all of the local farmers markets are open. I recent stumbled upon the Mercer Island Farmers Market and its accessible via the light rail!! I’d like to share it with you.
Here is the plan. Let’s meet at Dote Coffee in the Spring District this Sunday at 9:00. There is no timed parking on Sunday, and there should be plenty of spaces that early. We will wait until 9:15 then take the light rail to Mercer Island, walk the half mile or so to Marcina Bakery for some yummies. After which we can walk the farmers market to check out the various food trucks, crafts and veggies. For those so inclined, we will then walk the Mercerdale stairs, (there are quite a few), followed by a nice nature walk back down to the farmers market where we can have lunch. This is rain or shine, hot or cold. Please dress appropriately.

Note: if it’s better to not take the light rail, feel free to meet us at Macrina Bakery around 10:00 am
