In-person poetry workshop!
Hi! This is some of what you can expect from this workshop:
-We welcome all types of poetry, including experimental work, slam poetry, and literary translations. Our only ask here is that you that you only bring work that you feel you are ready to have critiqued.
-If you would like to share your work, please bring enough hard copies for the group to make notes on (these will be returned to you at the end of the session).
-Please limit your offering to one sheet.
-Attention and participation are mandatory for attendees (i.e. please refrain from cellphone use during active critique, etc.)
-Most importantly, we lead with the positive. Please be respectful, mindful, and constructive towards all work presented in this space.
-If you are on the wait list, be sure to check back on meetup the day before and the day of. Meetup doesn't notify you when you come off the wait list.
