# Welcome to Eastside Social

Eastside Social began with a simple idea: it should be easier to meet people and build real friendships on the Eastside. For those of us in Redmond, Bellevue, Kirkland, Woodinville, Bothell, Issaquah, and nearby areas, connection can feel far away. We created this community to change that.

Whether you are new here or a long-time local, this is a place to meet people, feel at ease, and build community closer to home.

# What We Do

We regularly host Eastside happy hours that offer a relaxed, low-pressure way to get to know the group. Beyond that, we plan a range of experiences that make connection feel natural: trying new restaurants, sharing wine or whiskey, film outings and conversations, game nights, museum visits, hikes, bike rides, and the occasional weekend adventure.

Some events are lively, others are quieter. Come to what fits your life. There is no pressure to do everything.

# Community Values

Everyone is welcome. Kindness, curiosity, and respect shape how we gather. Inappropriate, intrusive, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. We expect members to treat each other with maturity and awareness so the community stays safe and enjoyable for all.

# Participation

To keep the group active, members who are inactive for more than three months or who frequently no-show may be removed. You are always welcome to rejoin when the timing is right.

# Safety

All attendees participate at their own discretion and are responsible for their own safety. By joining events, you agree that organizers and members are not liable for any claims related to participation.
