Eastside Sunday Ride #3

Details

Join us May 25th for the third Eastside Urbanism Sunday Ride. We will cover roughly 21 miles, spanning Bellevue, Issaquah, Sammamish, and Redmond. We will start at South Bellevue Station @ 11am and end at Marymoor Village Station, so please bring your Orca card. We will follow the Mountains-to-Sound Greenway to Issaquah, then the East Lake Sammamish Trail to Redmond.

The route will be uphill on a new protected path until Eastgate P&R, after which the ride will be downhill or flat. The ride will be on protected paths other than a stretch between Eastgate and Issaquah.

If the weather is nice, we will stop by Sunset Beach, where the Sunset Beach Cafe should be having its opening weekend. Otherwise, we will plan to have lunch in Issaquah.

Post ride, we’ll be near Bicycle Benefits-member Postdoc Brewing and plan a stop there or in Downtown Redmond (if connection is open) so we don’t crowd a single train.

Ride leader Chris will be sharing the ride’s location via a Garmin link on the day of in the Eastside Urbanism Discord for anyone that wishes to join the group part way.
