Our group is taking a field trip to Bellevue City Hall to learn about and show support for Bellevue's new Diversity Advantage Plan, which will guide how the city shapes its services and culture to be more inclusive and welcoming.

Our cities are for everyone - at a time when the federal government and local voices are slamming equity policies as "woke" and unnecessary, it's important that urbanists show up to be supportive voices for intentional planning around more inclusive communities in our backyard.

This open house will be a time for community members to come, ask questions, speak with city staff, and learn more about how the city creates and performs outreach around its plans.

You only need to bring yourself - if there's enough people and interest, we might go grab some food or drinks after the event.
