If you haven’t heard, the 2 Line is finally going to cross Lake Washington this Saturday, March 28! This is a big deal for eastsiders and Seattleites alike, bringing together both sides of the lake with light rail. Starting at 9 AM, Sound Transit has a big lineup of festivities throughout opening day, and we’re gonna be there!

You can find us at South Bellevue station, where we’ll have a fun interactive art piece and an all-new bingo for 2026. We’re so excited to celebrate this significant milestone for the eastside and the greater Puget Sound region—come visit and say hi!

Once you visit us, be sure to stop by some of our friends:

• Complete Streets Bellevue will be one of our neighbors at South Bellevue station. Stop by to learn about the important work they’re doing to make Bellevue’s streets safer for everyone, and learn how you can get involved to help make it happen.
• Move Redmond will be at Mercer Island station. Visit their booth to pick up an updated Station Access Map, a limited edition tote bag, and enter a drawing for a beautiful watercolor painting of a Link train crossing the bridge.
• Transit Riders Union will have two booths: one at Judkins Park and another at Mercer Island. Learn about the work they do to keep transit projects on track and advocate for better, more equitable service.
