We are starting a "catch-up" book club that might be of interest to anyone who joined the Urbanism Book Club with Liveable Kirkland more recently or just missed some of the books. We also want to experiment a bit, so our first event will be a silent reading session.

Location: Paris Baguette in Redmond (8065 161st Ave), easily accessible from 2 Line (Downtown Redmond Station) or Redmond Transit Center and from Sammamish River Trail if you are coming by bike.

Schedule:

  • 6:30–7:00 p.m. — introductions
  • 7:00–8:00 p.m. — reading
  • 8:00–8:30 p.m. — chatting about whatever we've just read or want to read

Bring a book to read or an audiobook to listen to, and if you don't know what to read, pick one of the books from this list or this list. Articles and papers also count! Bring your non-urbanist friends, we'll try to convert them 🤞
