The weather forecast keeps changing, but Monday afternoon looks promising, so let's enjoy a walk before it gets rainy and cold.

We will meet at the usual spot, by the playground and walk up to the new bridge on to the Sammamish River Trail.

After walking for a while on the Sammamish River Trail, we turn left on a "Regional Trail", which takes us through wetlands to the Cascadia College Campus. At the Sarah Simonds Green Conservatory, we will go up one hill to Cascadia College, walking past beautiful, modern buildings.

Once past the college, there will be one more hill, and we will weave our way to downtown Old Bothell, passing by the old cemetery before arriving at the newly redone, pedestrian Main Street.

Back at the parking area, we will continue our walk through the recently restored wetland area.

Terrain is flat, except for the two noted hills.

Parking note: if the area by the playground is full, there is a large parking right off the pop up dog park, on Bothell Way, which is right by the meeting spot.
