Visual Art Event: Unpoetry at the Frye!

Details
Do you appreciate art? Join us on a tour of Mary Ann Peters: the edge becomes the center and Boren Banner Series: Samantha Wall with local poet and event organizer Eric M. Acosta. For this iteration of Unpoetry, local artists will create written pieces and performances based on current exhibitions, with the goal to inspire deeper engagement with the museum space and the artwork it holds.
Entry fee is free but you need to register on the website! Once you register, please RSVP to confirm attendance! Please review our no-show policies on our group page!
Doors will open for check-in 30 minutes prior to the event. We'll meet and gather at the front of the building and sign in!
After the event, we can go to a local bar or cafe and share our experiences!
Parking & Transportation
Parking can be challenging in the area, so please consider using a rideshare service or another alternative to driving.
Street parking can be found near the Frye, but the quickest way to park and access the museum is to visit some of the private parking garages nearby, including the First Hill Medical Pavilion at 1124 Columbia St and Swedish Hospital Marion & Minor Garage. Other paid parking lots are available throughout First Hill.
There are many bus routes that will drop you off very close to the museum including routes 3,4, 60, and 12.
