A Hawkhurst border hike!

A walk from the charming village of Hawkhurst this time. We meet by the side of the large village green, from where our walk begins - down a twitten! The route features quiet country lanes,meadows, crop fields,an orchard, forest walking,and includes part of the Sussex Border Path. This walk is 6 miles long - we will be taking our break in the forest so please bring something to sit on. This walk is not suitable for dogs. Please do not RSVP unless you have transport to Hawkhurst - if you need a lift please ask using 'comments' on this site. If you are a new member,and haven't paid your membership fee, we are now offering a reduced rate of £3 from now until the end of August when our current fiscal year ends. So if this is your first walk, and you haven't paid, please bring £3 in an envelope with your name on it. I will then hand it on to Norman Crouch our main organiser. If you would prefer, message him via meetup prior to the walk, and he will send you his bank A/C details to transfer £3.
