Free Car Park. Bus stop nearby. Walk starts at 10:30

An open down- land walk with far reaching panoramic views of the downs and views over Eastbourne. There is a steepish hill at the start, total ascent 575ft
We will walk at a moderate pace and stop for a lunch break at about half distance; you will need to bring your own packed lunch and drink.
There should not be much mud but could be slippery in places.
Please come appropriately dressed in case of bad weather. There are toilets at the Hikers Rest café

To attend our walks a £5 annual memberhip fee is payable to cover the membership period, which runs from the 1st September to 31st August. As there is only one and a half months left, this has now been reduced to £3 membership fee. Please approach the Walk Leader at the start of the walk and pay them £3 in cash, preferably in an envelope with your full name clearly written on it. Alternatively if you wish to pay by bank transfer, then prior to attending the walk contact Norman Crouch the Group Organiser via personal message on Meetup or by text on 07503 142469 and he will provide you with his bank details to enable you to pay your fee before this event commences. Any guests of members must pay a fee of £2 per walk on the day, or join the group and pay the £3 membership fee.
