Pett Countryside Walk

A 5.5 mile, moderately paced circular walk starting from Pett village hall car park across the beautiful Pett Countryside across fields, through woods and along the seafront at Pett level for a short while where we will stop on the beach for 20 - 30 minutes for a break and snacks approximately 2/3rds along the way. The countryside in Pett is very pretty but undulating with a few short steeper hills in places but these are rewarded with fabulous views. There are a few stiles along the route and the occasional batch of brambles/nettles in the woody areas so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. It can get breezy along the seafront so a lightweight windproof jacket may be helpful if you are sensitive to the cold.
The forecast at the moment is sunny with a light breeze.
It’s advisable to bring any drinks and snacks that you require for the walk but you may be able to purchase tea/coffee at the seafront cafe if it’s not too busy.
This is a members only event.
Unfortunately this is not a suitable walk for dogs.
