For this walk we meet in Arlington Reservoir car park before heading off into the surrounding countryside. On our route there are some far reaching views of The Downs - with a mixture of woodland, meadows, and tracks. The route is fairly easy going with only one small, steep hill. We will finish our walk around the wood lined side of the reservoir with its bird hides. This walk is just under 5 miles, and we will take our break in a churchyard. There is a £2:50 charge, payable by card only, for the car park -which is for the whole day. Opposite the car park entrance there is a lay-by which, if you are lucky,is free. There is also a cafe/kiosk in the car park. If you have any problems on walk day please text/call me rather than messaging meetup; 07530172987. This walk is for members of East Sussex Walking Group and their guests. If you wish to join this walk and are currently not a paid-up member please follow this link for further details: www.meetup.com/eastsussexwalking.
