Come celebrate 17 years of Bitcoin! This event marks the Bitcoin Blockchain’s birthday on Genesis Block Day, Saturday, January 3rd, 2026

“Bitcoin Genesis Day” refers to January 3, 2009, the day when the genesis block of the Bitcoin blockchain was mined by the cryptocurrency’s pseudonymous creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. This event marked the beginning of the Bitcoin network and the first practical implementation of blockchain technology.

Today, Bitcoin is the world’s largest decentralized network, secured by more computational power than any other system in history.
