I'm envisioning this as a movie night, game night, happy hour (drinking optional) kind of thing. But I'm open to whatever the group is interested in doing.

Background on myself: I'm a 39 year old single parent who spent the first 38 years feeling insecure and afraid to be my true self. Until one day I discovered who I was and realized that everyone else is insecure too. Ever since then, I've been fascinated with meeting new people and connecting with others who value authenticity. Sadly, it seems that face to face interaction is falling out of favor in today's society. This group is my modest attempt to do something about that. Maybe make some new friends while I'm at it.
