In recent years, activism and activists have really jumped to the top of the news over and over again. From street blockages to creative “artivism” we have witnessed the diversity of actions explode. However, after covid and the refocus towards the war in Ukraine, many see the need for activism to evolve and adapt to the current political scene.

• What works, What doesn't? Share your insights.
• Dreams of Change: How have our visions for the future changed?
• Personal Journeys: How have your personal perspectives of activism changed over time?
• Culture Wars: Why are they so prevalent and how to go beyond them?
  - Activism proportionality: How does higher societal risk affect accepted forms of activism?
  These are just a few topic ideas that anyone can be suggested for the discussion.

​🌱🌳 ━━━ ABOUT US ━━━ 🌿🍃
​Earth & Society Dialogues is a group aiming to bring together people with interest in discussing issues related to climate change and the coping of societies in the Anthropocene — the current geological age where humans are the biggest driver of geological and ecological change.

​Our events are a healthy discussion forum, open to people from all backgrounds, that aims at providing the time and space for new thoughts to emerge, and ideas to spread.

Each of our meetings has a general theme, however, the discussion is led by the participants themselves. This process starts by the participants suggesting their own topics related to the general theme. After which, people divide into small groups where they get to know each other better and dive deeper into their topics of interest.

You don’t need to be very enthusiastic about sustainability to enjoy this meeting; in fact, many of the participants aren’t. You just need to be open to listen, understand, and communicate with no judgement.
