Tahoe Meadows Chickadee Ridge Snowshoe *Moderate*

This is a 2.1 mile out and back hike with 350' elevation gain and is rated as moderate.

Hike starts at the Boardwalk (actually, the boardwalk is under snow but it is located on the south side of the hwy in the north west part of the meadow) off Mt Rose hwy, meanders through the meadow, turns into the woods and starts up the hill. You'll be rewarded with stunning views of the lake and the company of many tiny feathered friends!

Dress for conditions and bring water, snacks, and birdseed for the Chickadees.

Parking along Mt Rose Highway can be limited. Strongly suggested carpooling.
