Olympic Valley Truckee River Path

Join us for a fun, easy walk along the Truckee River by Olympic Valley.

This is a 6 mile ( total) hike on a mostly flat, paved path. This is a perfect opportunity to get to know a portion of this lengthy public trail.

We'll start at the Olympic Valley Park parking lot, cross the Highway and journey along the river for 3 miles taking in the views along the way.
PLEASE NOTE: This multi-use path is bordered by the hiway on one side and the river on the other. Traffic sounds will be noticeable most of the way. In addition, this is a popular bike path and we'll need to be aware of cyclists coming from behind.

Directions from Reno: Take 80 West to 89 South towards Lake Tahoe. Turn at Olympic Valley Road, and almost immediately turn left into the Olympic Valley Park parking lot.
