Carson Pass Wildflower Hike *Moderate*

Join us on this beautiful 6 mile, 639 ft elevation gain, out and back hike to Winnemucca Lake to include Frog Lake and vista over Hope Valley. We will be hiking on a portion of the Pacific Crest Trail. Hoping to take in some beautiful wildflowers along the way.
We will meet at the trailhead by the Ranger Station. Travel time is approximately 1 hr 20 min from Reno. Parking fee $5 at the digital kiosk.
The trail is rocky in parts so good hiking shoes/boots are recommended. Poles are helpful.
Bring plenty of water and a snack to enjoy once we reach Winnemucca lake. In the past several member have brought their swim suit and taken in the opportunity to swim in the cool refreshing lake.
