Donner Pass Train Tunnels

The railroad tunnels and Donner Pass provide a unique hiking experience that includes a look into the railroad history of the area as well as the opportunity to take in the artful works that decorate the tunnel walls. This 5 mile, out and back, hike is at 7000 feet. The tunnels will be cool and damp inside and it will also be dark at times so a flashlight or headlamp is needed.
We will meet up at the parking lot for the train tunnels which is across the street from Donner Ski Ranch parking lot.
