Donner Memorial State Park Snowshoe “beginner”

Let’s take this easy, scenic, 3 mile snowshoe around Donner State Park. We will start at the day use parking area next to the entrance kiosk. Parking fee is $10 per vehicle (price differs if you have a California park pass). We shall have some great views as we will walk along the Donner Lake shore in some areas and through the trees as we walk through the closed campgrounds.

Bring Snowshoes and poles. Dress according to conditions. Bring water and a snack. Carpooling is recommended.
