Picnic Rock View Loop * Moderate *

This hike will be a 5.5 mile, 833 elevation gain loop. A portion will be on the Tahoe Rim Trail. We will take short side trail to Picnic Rock Peak which offers great views of the Lake Tahoe.
Located on Hwy 267 between Northstar and Kings Beach. Parking is limited to a “pull off” along the Highway. Park vertically in the pullout to allow room for as many cars as possible.
Wear good hiking shoes and dress for the conditions of the day. As always, bring plenty of water.
Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome.
Carpools are recommended.
