GRAND CANYON (8KM) MEDIUM-GRADE 3

This walk follows the classic Grand Canyon Track. Starting from the Grand Canyon carpark, we will head southwest along Evans Lookout Road towards Neates Glen Parking Area, where the trail descends (200M) into the canyon; and traverse the circuit anti-clockwise past waterfalls, scenic views, creek crossings, and finally ascent (200M) out of canyon into Evans Lookout with panoramic views and short walk back to the cars.

There are toilets at Grand Canyon Carpark.

CARPOOLING: Please use comments section to arrange carpooling.

BRING: 2 litres of water, snacks, sun protection, hiking shoes.

NOTE: If you are feeling unwell or unfit please stay home! Limit of 30 people only for safety so please only RSVP if 100% committed to attend! Accumulative NO-SHOW`s and members who display disrespectful or inappropriate behavior will be banned from the group. Members who show up for events inadequately packed with essential supplies will not be allowed to attend the event for their own health and safety. Members are responsible for assessing their own fitness and experience level before attending an event. Members are expected to stay within sight of the group at all times.
