Whales in Sydney August 3rd 2025
As of July 15, 2025, the whale-watching season in Sydney is still ongoing, with the southern migration of humpback whales expected to continue through August and September. According to the information, by mid-August, the last whales going north have usually passed Sydney, and the southern migration begins, with mothers and calves swimming south.
Therefore, it is likely that whales will still be visible in Sydney on August 3, 2025, as the southern migration is expected to be active during this period.

Southern Migration: The southern migration of humpback whales, which includes mothers and calves, typically occurs from August to November. During this time, whales swim slower and are often closer to the coast, making them easier to spot.
Whale Activity in August: In August, the focus shifts to the southern migration, and while the number of whales may be lower compared to the peak northern migration in June and July, there are still opportunities to see whales, especially mothers and calves

My phone will be displayed in the comments section below in the morning.

Set your alarm clock and I see your smiling faces in the morning!
