Rose Bay to Coogee Coastal Walk (12km) Easy-Grade 1

This walk follows the most popular coastal walk in Sydney from Rose Bay to Coogee sprinkled with beautiful beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools traversing the cliff line with spectacular views across the Pacific Ocean. Meeting up outside Rose Bay Wharf we follow the path along the golf course down the road to Bondi Beach, then follow the Coastal Walk via Tamarama Point, Bronte Park, Clovelly, Gordon`s Bay, and Coogee Beach with stunning views of Malabar Headland as far back as Bondi Beach before finishing the walk at Coogee by lunchtime, taking the bus back to the city or Rose Bay. Option to continue the coastal walk to Maroubra (+4km) after lunch.

TRANSPORT OPTION: 9:45am ferry from Circular Quay, Wharf 2, Side B, arriving at Rose Bay Wharf at 9:57am. OR 324 or 325 buses from Town Hall.

BRING: 2 litres of water, snacks, lunch, sun protection, first aid kit, rain gear.

NOTE: If you are feeling unwell or unfit please stay home! Limit of 20 people only for safety so please only RSVP if 100% committed to attend! There is no excuse for not updating your RSVP in a timely manner for those on the waitlist to be able to attend. Accumulative NO-SHOW`S, late cancellations, and members who display disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour will be banned from the group. Members who show up for events inadequately packed with essential supplies will not be allowed to attend the event for their own health and safety. Walks are graded according to the difficulty of the terrain and access to exit points. Bushwalking is a skill. Members are responsible for assessing their own fitness and experience level before attending an event. All members are responsible for exercising duty of care for themselves and others.
