Join us for a scenic hike along the historic Nakasendo Trail, walking between the beautifully preserved post towns of Magome and Tsumago. This route is famous for its Edo-period atmosphere, traditional wooden buildings, and peaceful mountain scenery. ✨

• Distance: 12 km
• Hiking time: About 4.5 hours + breaks & sightseeing ⏱️
• Difficulty: Beginner–Intermediate
(There are some ups and downs but no steep climbs. Basic fitness is required due to the 12 km distance.)

• Meeting point: Nakatsugawa Station — 9:00
• Bus departure to Magome: 9:10 (¥800) Bus fare: Cash only.
※ If the bus is full, we will take the 9:55 bus instead
• Arrive Magome: 9:35
• Hike starts: 10:00 ‍♂️‍♀️
• Arrive Nagiso Station: Around 16:30
※ Arrival time may be delayed by 1 hour or more depending on the outbound bus situation.

Sightseeing Highlights

Magome-juku ️
A charming post town located on a steep stone-paved slope. Enjoy traditional shops, small cafes ☕, and great views of the Kiso Valley.

Tsumago-juku
One of the best-preserved Edo-period towns in Japan. The streets are beautifully maintained, and the town strictly preserves its historical atmosphere. We may stop here for a late lunch .
The Hina Doll Festival is being held in Tsumago-juku.

The trail between these towns passes through quiet forests , old cobblestone paths, and peaceful mountain scenery. Several restrooms are available along the Nakasendo Trail .

妻籠宿
日本でも屈指の保存状態を誇る宿場町。
江戸時代の景観が大切に守られています。ここで遅めのランチも可能です 。

馬籠〜妻籠間のトレイルは、静かな森 や石畳の古道を歩く気持ちの良いルートです。
中山道沿いにはトイレも数ヶ所あります 。

罰則
以下に該当する方は、グループから強制退会となります。

☠️ 「参加する」の状態にもかかわらず、当日現場に来ない方
☠️ 当日キャンセルを何度も繰り返す方

上記の行為は、主催者だけでなく、他の参加者にも迷惑がかかります。

参加が難しそうな場合は、できるだけ早めのキャンセルをお願いします。
