Although the old Tokaido street is located on the west side of Arimatsu Station, the east side is more suitable for meeting as it is less crowded.

What is Arimatsu Shibori? 🧵👘
Arimatsu Shibori is a traditional Japanese tie-dye technique that has been practiced for over 400 years. Artisans create beautiful patterns by carefully folding, twisting, and binding fabric before dyeing it 🎨
Each piece is handmade and unique, with intricate designs that cannot be replicated by machines ✨

Arimatsu is known for its well-preserved historic streets along the old Tokaido road, where wealthy merchants once thrived. It’s like stepping back in time! ⏳✨

➡️ 10:35 AM – Depart Meitetsu Nagoya Station (Semi-Express → Toyoake)
→ 10:53 AM – Arrive at Arimatsu Station
OR
➡️ 10:27 AM – Depart Meitetsu Nagoya Station (Local → Higashi-Okazaki)
→ 10:57 AM – Arrive at Arimatsu Station
🌧️ Weather Policy
The festival takes place on June 6 and June 7.
If it rains, the event will be postponed to the next day (June 7).
If it also rains on June 7, the event will be canceled. ☔
We will post an update on the event page by the day before 📢

400年以上の歴史を持つ伝統工芸「有松絞り」に触れられるお祭りです 🎉✨
有松絞りとは？ 🧵👘
布を折る・縛る・ねじるなどの技法を使って染める、日本の伝統的な絞り染めです。
すべて手作業で作られるため、一つひとつ模様が異なるのが特徴です 🎨✨

有松は旧東海道沿いにあり、かつて絞り染めで栄えた豪商の町家が立ち並ぶ、歴史あるエリアです。まるでタイムスリップしたような雰囲気を楽しめます ⏳✨

雨天の場合は翌日（6/7）に順延します。
