Let’s riding bike and enjoy the scenery (mountain, lake, sea, trees, wetland). The route is easy but some times have to climb up a bit.

10.00-10.14 : gathering in taipei main station platform 3B (waiting car no 11/10)
10.14-11.51 : take train to Hsincu
11.51-12.15 : walk to bus station (no time for toilet we have to go to bus station)
12.37-13.00 : take bus BL 15 to HARBO station
13.00-13.15 : rental bike

13.15-14.00 : CYCLING
14.00-14.30 : late lunch
14.30-17.00 : cycling

  • we will visit some places and take a break for 5 mins
  • the last route is siangshan wetland then we will go back
  • I will give the time 10-15 minutes for playing the water on the beach

17.00-17.30 : return bike
17.30-17.45 : go to night market (optional)
17.45-19.00 : quick dinner (we need to take the bus before 20.30)
19.00-19.15 : walking to the bus stop
19.31-19.51 : take bus BL15 to hsincu station
20.00 : train to Taipei

What you should bring

  1. UV protection/ hat (don’t use umbrella for cycling it’s dangerous)
  2. Mosquito repellent
  3. Drink water 1,5 L
  4. Rain coat
  5. Sandal (optional) if you want to play the water BUT WE CANNOT SWIM
  6. EASY CARD (money around 300)

EXPENSES :

  1. Taipei to Hsincu local train is around 80-100 NTD (for one way) WE CANNOT USE T-PASS (the bus driver told me that t-pass taipei and hsincu is different)
  2. Dinner in night market around 100-200
    3.bus from Hsincu station to harbo is around 15 NT (one way)
  3. Rental bike is around 150 NT (with the basket), mountain bike 200-250, electric bike (4 people is around 600 NT but only 2 hours, our trip is around 3 hours)
  • If we are late, so we can take the last bus at 21.30
  • taxi to hsincu THSR station 350 NT
  • THSR hsincu to taipei 290 NT
