HIKING ZHUZIHU YAMINGSHAN TO XIN BEITOU, FLOWER GARDEN (LILY)
Details
Hiking from yamingshan (mount zhongzheng) / mt datun peak to xin beitou MRT station. Then we continue to have dinner in local restaurant. It’s easy (level 2) hiking but still a lot of stairs to climb or going down.
11.00-11.15: gather in beitou MRT exit 1
11.15-11.30: line up in the bus station waiting for bus S9/129
11.30-12.12: taking bus S9/129
12.30-13.30: lunch in garden flower (hydrangeas season)
13.30-14.00: walking to the trail
14.00-15.00: hiking to zhongzheng deck
15.00-15.30: take a rest
15.30-17.30: continue hiking to xin beitou
17.30-18.00: walking to the restaurant
18.00-19.00: dinner in the local restaurant
The route :
• we will take S9/129 Mini bus to zhuzihu (bamboo lake garden). This trip takes around 45 minutes from beitou station. Please don’t be late because we need to get spot on the bus.
• The total of the hike will be around 3 hours 30 minutes (depends on us, if we take a-lot of stops maybe 4 hours in total).
• we will pass the garden which is famous for flowers garden. If you want to enter this, you have to pay 100 ntd for the entrance (including drink). I can give 60 mins to explore and to have lunch.
• the hike is total about 3,6 km (excluding from the main entrance zhuzihu to the trail and get out from the trail to xin beitou (restaurant).
• mostly hike is going down but at the first 0,8 km we have to climb by the stairs. After we arrive at Mt zhongzheng deck, the rest of the trails are going down.
Please bring these things :
1. Water 2 L
2. Mosquito repellent
3. Snacks
4. UV protection
5. Rain coat or umbrella
6. Lunch (IMPORTANT)
Expenses :
1. Bus from beitou station to yamingshan is around 7-9 NTD (after you take MRT). But if we are late, so it’s better to go by taxi. Price will be around 500 (4 ppl)
2. Local food is around 45-100 (depends on your order)
3. Flower garden entrance 150-200 ntd (including drink)
