Cycling The imperial CENTURY on Summer solstice 2025. 163 km total.

What we will do together
Cycle from Luxembourg gare (front of Police station) to Thionville, Schengen, Wasserbillig, Echternach lake, Diekirch and finish at Mersch gare.

Major stops: Thionville and Echternach lake. These will be longer stops for proper meals.
We will have as many minor stops as needed.

If we maintain an average speed of about 20 km/hour and have a cumulative stop time of 90 minutes, we can finish the ride in 10 hours.

How to prepare
Do carbohydrate loading for 2 to 3 days before the event.

Getting home from ride finishing point.
There are trains from Mersch to Luxembourg Gare every 30 minutes.

What to bring
1. Your bike in tip top condition (all bike types are welcome). But keep in mind that we aim to maintain an average speed of 20km/h.
2. Energy snacks.
3. Lots of fluids to stay hydrated.
4. Packed food for the major stops.

Disclaimer
This is not a typical Easy Spinner event. We will be on the saddle for more than 8 hours.
If you decide to participate in this event, you are responsible for your own property and health. This distance (163 km) requires VERY high exercise tolerance/endurance/fitness.

The organizer will NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for damages to the property or the health (including cycling injuries) of the participants.
The organizer will be responsible for navigating the cycle route from the start point to the finish point.
