Cycling & Picnic @ Biodiversum. 27km, 39km or 58km (Flexible).

What we will do together
1. Cycle from Luxembourg gare (front of Police station) to Biodiversum - Remerschen (about 27km)
2. Have a picnic at Biodiversum lake. (Tour of the Biodiversum museum is optional and free)

Those who want to do a shorter ride have the options of taking a bus from Biodiversum back to the city or ride to Remich (+12km) with the group and take a bus from Remich to Luxembourg city.

3. Cycle from Biodiversum to Luxembourg Airport via Schengen and Remich (about 31km).

If we maintain an average speed of about 18km/hour and have a total stop time of 90 minutes (including 1 hour picnic at Biodiversum), we can finish the ride in 5 hours and 30 minutes.

Getting home from finishing point (Airport)
There are frequent Trams and buses going to Luxembourg city and other directions.

What to bring
1. Your bike in tip top condition (all bike types are welcome).
2. Energy snacks.
3. Lots of fluids to stay hydrated.
4. Packed food for the picnic. Alternatively, there is a posh (expensive) restaurant opposite the Biodiversum, if you wish to order food.

Disclaimer
If you decide to participate in this event, you are responsible for your own property and health. This distance (58km) requires high exercise tolerance/endurance/fitness.

The organizer will NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for damages to the property or the health (including cycling injuries) of the participants.
The organizer will be responsible for navigating the cycle route from the start point to the finish point.

The terrain is 97% tarmac (paved). 18km of which is cycle ways.
