If you are in your 40s, 50s, or 60s and want to get out of the house, explore the Lower Mainland, and share incredible experiences with a great crowd—you’ve found your people.
We are a vibrant, welcoming community of adults aged 45+ and better who love getting out of the house and experiencing life. Whether you are single, married, new to town, or just looking to make new friends, our events are designed to be fun, safe, and highly engaging.
We are all about great food, lively drinks, spectacular theatre shows, live sports, and unforgettable local experiences across Vancouver, North Van, and Burnaby.
This group is for singles, couples, newcomers, and long-time locals who are energetic, welcoming, and looking to build genuine, lasting friendships.
What We Do:
- Eat & Drink: Cozy weekend brunches, vibrant dinners, cocktail hours, and exploring the best new culinary spots.
- Shows & Arts: Group outings to theatre productions, live plays, musical performances, and comedy nights.
- Experiences: Live sporting events, social dancing, outdoor concerts, local festivals, and unique neighborhood outings.
Where We Meet:
Our events are primarily hosted across Vancouver (Downtown, Kitsilano, Mount Pleasant), North Vancouver (Lower Lonsdale/Shipyards), and Burnaby (Metrotown/Brentwood). We intentionally select venues that are vibrant, safe, and easily accessible via transit or have convenient parking.

Membership:
For the month of November and December 2026, FIRST TIME NEW memberships are FREE. This free memberships trial period expires on March 31st, after then you can decide to stay or leave the group.
After you press "Join Group" please read more information about membership and fees. All join requests are subject to approval.
Membership Fees:
Members contribute to help pay for the annual meetup platform cost. Any additional remaining funds will slightly compensate the organizer for their time, planning, effort and event expenses incurred in running and attending every hosted event even if not all the members attend all the events, the host must attend and still incur expenses.
Members who do not pay their annual membership fee and members who are inactive (attend no events) for at least a minimum of 4 months may be removed from the group.

Code of Conduct:
We provide a fun community that is safe and welcoming.
Treat everyone (this includes members, owners, venue staff and guests) in a respectful and welcoming fashion. No bullying, harassment, antagonizing, aggression, accusations, demeaning or rude behavior or insults towards any member. No member is permitted to distress other members, encourage drama and friction amongst members, and/or spoil members enjoyment with the group and at events. These behaviors will not be tolerated and immediate expulsion from this social group is possible.
Respect Volunteer Organizers (all meetup groups)
All meetup organizers do their best to deliver events of good value and create great shared experiences. At all times, even if you are not a member of a meetup group, please show respect and appreciation to all the volunteer organizers and owners for their time and effort.
Safety:
You will be responsible for your own safety and well being at all events. Organizers and Hosts, cannot be held responsible for your participation in any event.

Lively, community-focused taphouse and restaurant located in the Central Lonsdale neighborhood of North Vancouver. Opened in late 2024, this expansive venue serves as a neighborhood hub rather than a traditional production brewery, combining Steamworks' classic beers with an extensive food program and family-friendly amenities.
The Atmosphere & Space
- Spacious Layout: The indoor dining area comfortably seats about 140 guests in a casual, trendy, and cozy setting.
- Massive Patio: It features a large, 130-seat exterior patio that is highly popular during warmer weather.
- Vibe: Highly social, energetic, and family-friendly, making it a great destination for both solo dining and large group gatherings.
Food & Drink Offerings
- 30 Taps on Rotation: The bar splits its draft lines evenly, pouring 15 signature Steamworks core brews (like the Flagship IPA and Lions Gate Lager) alongside 15 rotating guest taps highlighting local BC craft breweries.
- Full Kitchen Menu: Beyond typical pub classics and burgers, the kitchen serves up modern fusion creations, weekend brunch, and a substantial variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes.

- Immediately after signing up to attend, your seat will be confirmed only after you etransfer a $10 commitment deposit
- You cannot sign up and hold a spot while deciding to attend or not
Your Cancellation
- If you cancel anytime for any reasonyour $10 is not refundable
- Many meetup events typically have a 50% to 70% cancellation rate including cancellations under 24 hours which I aim to reduce or eliminate
Host Cancellation:
- Minimum 5 members required attendance or this social event MAY be canceled
- If I cancel the event, your deposit will be fully refunded.
